Our Installation Process (Across All Services)

While every install is different, the bones of the process are the same:

  1. Phone or WhatsApp enquiry. Send a photo, a model number, or a short description of what you are trying to do. We will tell you within minutes whether it is a same-day, next-day, or scheduled-slot job.
  2. Site visit if needed. For new points, new circuits, false-ceiling work, or whole-room re-looks, we arrange a quick visit to plan the cable route, confirm the DB capacity, and check any constraints (MCST rules, HDB requirements, ceiling type).
  3. Fixed written quote. Transparent, fixed pricing before any work begins. The full schedule of installation rates is published on our Electrical Services Price List Singapore page.
  4. Installation. Our own licensed electricians (no subcontractors) arrive on time, work clean, protect your furniture, and tidy up before they leave.
  5. Test, commission, and demonstrate. Every install is tested under load, and we show you the corresponding MCB / RCCB at the DB.
  6. LEW sign-off + Certificate of Compliance (CoC). For any fixed-wiring installation in Singapore, a LEW endorsement and CoC is required. We issue this as part of the same visit, and you receive a written copy for your records.

Licensing & Compliance (Why It Matters)

Singapore’s Electricity Act (Cap. 89A) and the Energy Market Authority (EMA) regulations require that all fixed-wiring electrical installation work be carried out by — or under the supervision of — a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) of the appropriate grade. The work must be:

  • Tested and commissioned to Singapore Standard CP5
  • Endorsed by a LEW registered with the EMA
  • Covered by a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) issued to the homeowner or business

This is not paperwork for paperwork’s sake — it is what protects you, your family, your tenants, and your insurance. A non-LEW install may look the same on the wall, but it has no legal standing and no insurance cover if something goes wrong.

FAQs

Any fixed-wiring electrical installation work in Singapore (new circuits, cable runs, DB box changes, new points, RCCB / MCB additions) must be done by or under the supervision of a LEW, with a CoC issued. For simple like-for-like replacements (e.g. one ceiling fan for another, one socket for another), a qualified electrician under LEW supervision is the legal standard. We will tell you upfront what your specific job requires.

Yes — for any work that legally requires one. You will receive a written CoC and a copy of the LEW endorsement for your records. This is important for HDB resale handovers, insurance claims, and any future renovation.

Either works. Most of our customers ask us to supply the parts (we use Schneider, ABB, Hager, Legrand, Clipsal, KDK, Fanco, and other approved brands) because it comes with our warranty. If you have already bought a specific model, we are happy to install it — just send us the model number or a photo first so we can confirm compatibility.

It depends on the job. A single socket or switch is 15–30 minutes. A ceiling fan replacement is 1–2 hours. A new fan point, new circuit, or DB upgrade is typically 2–5 hours. We will give you a realistic time estimate when we quote, and we stick to it.

We provide a workmanship warranty on every repair. If the same fault returns within 14 days, we come back free of charge and fix it properly. If a part we supplied fails within its manufacturer warranty, we replace it at no labour cost.
