Surface Trunking or Concealed Wiring?
Every new point needs a cable route back to the DB box. There are two ways to run it, and we will recommend the one that suits the room.
Concealed Wiring
The cable is chased into the wall and plastered over, so only the faceplate shows. Best done during a renovation, before painting.

- Tell us what you want installed. A photo of the location and the DB box is usually enough to scope a small job.
- Fixed written quote. Labour, materials and the cable route agreed before we start.
- Capacity check. We confirm the DB box and supply can take the new load, and add a circuit if needed.
- Installation. EMA-approved parts, correctly sized cable and a neat surface or concealed route.
- Test and sign-off. Polarity, earth continuity and RCCB trip test, with LEW endorsement and a CoC for new circuits.

What Singapore homeowners and businesses ask us most before an installation.
Do you supply the fittings or do I buy them?
Either works. You can buy your own fan, lights or switches and we install them, or we can supply EMA-approved parts and quote them upfront.
Do I need a Certificate of Compliance for a new installation?
A new circuit or any change to fixed wiring needs LEW endorsement and a CoC, which we issue. A like-for-like swap on an existing point usually does not.
Can you install on a false ceiling?
Yes. Ceiling fans and heavier lights on a false ceiling need proper bracing to the slab above, which we include in the quote.
Will a new appliance trip my power?
It can if the DB box or supply is near its limit. We check capacity before installing and add a dedicated circuit where needed.
How long does a typical installation take?
Most single sockets, switches, lights or fans are done in one visit. Larger fit-outs are scheduled after a site visit.
Is a repair cheaper than a new installation?
Often, yes. If an existing point has failed, see our electrical repair service first. We only recommend replacing what cannot be safely repaired.
