Restaurant / F&B Kitchen Electrical
For restaurants, cafes, central kitchens, bakeries, caterers and bars. The kitchen is the heart of the operation, and the electrical work has to be right.

SCDF Fire Code
Emergency Lighting & Exit Lights
For any occupied commercial premises, emergency lighting and exit signs are an SCDF requirement under the Fire Code. We:
- Supply and install emergency lighting and exit signs to the latest SCDF requirements.
- Test every unit for the required 90-minute battery backup.
- Maintain on schedule, typically quarterly, with a written log for SCDF submission.
- Replace failed units and batteries before they become a non-compliance.

Commercial Electrician FAQs
Straight answers about small jobs, after-hours work, MCST, SCDF, response times and CoC.
Do you do small commercial jobs, or only big fit-outs?
Both. We do small repairs (a single dead socket in a shop, an emergency light replacement) and full fit-outs. About half of our commercial work is on-call repair and maintenance; the other half is fit-outs and rewiring.
Can you work after hours or on weekends?
Yes. Most of our commercial fit-out and rewiring work is done after hours or on weekends so your business keeps running. The small after-hours surcharge is published on our Electrical Services Price List.
Do you handle MCST submissions?
Yes. We work with your MCST or Managing Agent on access, working hours and any required submission. For most MCSTs it is a notification; for others it is a formal approval that takes 1–2 weeks. We tell you upfront which it is.
Can you handle the SCDF fire alarm interface for a new F&B fit-out?
We do the electrical scope: emergency lighting, exit signs and the fire alarm interface. The fire alarm itself is supplied and commissioned by an SCDF-registered fire alarm contractor, and we coordinate with them on site.
How quickly can you come for an emergency?
AMC clients get priority same-day response. For one-off commercial emergencies, we aim to be on site within 60–90 minutes during working hours and within 2 hours after hours. See our Emergency Electrician page.
Do you provide a Certificate of Compliance (CoC)?
Yes, for every commercial job that requires one. You receive a written CoC and a copy of the LEW endorsement, suitable for your insurer, MCST or SCDF.
